How long have you been in the property management business?
Are you, or have you ever been, affiliated with or actually conducted business as a mortgage company?
How many units do you manage?
Can you provide a balance sheet to confirm this count?
Do you manage any multi unit properties?
What is the largest property you manage?
How do you fill vacancies?
Do you have clients who will confirm your efficiency for filling vacancies?
What types of properties do you manage?
Can I see 10 of the properties that you manage?
What tenant screening methods do you use?
Are your branch addresses actually office spaces or your agents home addresses?
Do you have documentation to support the answers you’ve given me?
As in any industry, providing timely responses to customer inquiries is the hallmark of quality customer care. In selecting a property management company you will want to pay close attention to how quickly and efficiently your initial inquiry is addressed by the company (or companies) you attempt to contact. If your calls or emails are unanswered, or you feel like you have to bend over backward to get someone’s attention, chances are that property management company won’t adequately serve your needs over the long haul.
We hope this information will be useful in your search for a professional property management company in the Los Angeles or Orange County area and that you’ll give us a call in the near future for an interview.
